Phillip Pratt
Phillip Pratt is an Everence® Charitable Consultant, working with the National Markets team. Phil came to Everence after nearly 15 years in pastoral ministry within the Reformed Church in America, serving in Michigan and New Jersey.
When Phil was introduced to Everence through a financial planning process for pastors, he realized that Everence offers products, expertise and training that can bring down barriers between donors and organizations and increase energy and potential through Christ-centered generosity.
Phil earned his bachelor’s degree from Hope College and completed his Master of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan. He is pursuing certification as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy from The American College of Financial Services. He and his family are active in Ada Congregational Church.
Phil’s life is filled by two busy and joyful daughters, whom he cares for with gracious support of family and friends since the passing of his wife, Becky, in 2019 after a courageous struggle with cancer. They live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
They love to ski on water and snow, hike, bike, travel, make music, and read. Generosity is close to Phil’s heart, and he’s excited to join in conversation, discernment and strategy toward embracing your passion to share God’s good and bountiful gifts with a world in need.
