William S Hartman, III, JD, AIF®, serves as Vice President of Organization and Fiduciary Services for Everence®. Bill holds a Bachelor's degree in agricultural business management from Penn State University and is a graduate of Widener University School of Law (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania). He has served in various capacities with Everence, including planned gift representative, trust officer and vice president of trust services. Earlier in his career, Bill served 16 years with the Farm Credit System.
He and his wife, Dot, are members of James Street Mennonite Church, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He serves on the board of Sharing Programs of Lancaster Mennonite Conference, Landis Communities and Bridge of Hope National. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Penn State Nittany Lion Club and Alumni Association. Bill leads teams of specialists who help institutions align mission and values with their stewardship of resources – and encourage a spirit of generosity.
