To receive the discount, apply for the loan, and when your loan officer reaches out, tell them you plan to buy a green vehicle.

Receive a 0.50% interest rate discount on a home equity loan if at least 75% of the loan is used for qualified energy-efficient and/or energy-saving home improvements.
Qualified home improvements:

• Heat pumps
• Geothermal heating systems
• Double-paned, low-e windows
• Solar outdoor lighting
• Energy-efficient appliances
• Water-saving processes
• Insulation
• Wastewater efficiencies, recycling processes, composting
• Xeriscaping – landscaping that requires little water

To apply, fill out the online loan application and when you receive your approval notification, tell your loan officer you’re doing green home renovations.
