What is your day to day like in your internship?
Lately I’ve been doing marketing projects with Jeff Shafer, working at the front desk and learning the phone system, transferring paper files into OnBase, and shadowing consultants and others.
What have you enjoyed the most so far?
I’ve enjoyed getting to know everyone that I’m working with and progressing my career with marketing. I’ve also really liked learning about the broadness of the company.
How did you find Everence?
I found it through my school’s Handshake posting and did some further research.
What do you like to do outside of the internship?
I really enjoy going to the gym, playing pickleball, watching pretty much any type of sport on ESPN. I also really like coffee as my job before this was as a barista.
What’s your favorite thing to do in your area?
I really like going to restaurants. My favorites are either local Mexican restaurants or a place called Clementine for brunch.
Do you have advice for future interns at Everence?
Don’t be scared to ask questions, I’ve never been shot down for asking one and everyone here wants the best for you.
