What is your role and where are you located?
I am a Financial Planning Intern at our Archbold, Ohio office.
What is something you have learned in your internship?
One thing I have learned throughout my internship is just how important relationships are. Whether it is between a planner and a client or just within the workplace, all relationships are important.
What has been your favorite project/task?
My favorite task has been getting to sit in on many financial planning meetings. There is so much to take away from each one, and I am able to learn from a great financial planner along the way.
How did you find Everence?
I’ve always sort of known about Everence since it is here in my hometown, but I really decided to reach out when I decided I wanted to be home for the summer. Their values line up perfectly with mine and I loved the opportunity to take the position.
What is something you like to do on the weekends?
On the weekends I like to hang out with friends, golf, swim etc. I love getting to enjoy the summertime outside when I can.
What is your favorite local restaurant?
My favorite local restaurant is El Meson del Taco, they have my favorite tacos!
What advice do you have for future interns at Everence?
My advice to future interns would be to ask questions; people want to help you. Also, try to do everything that you can, even if you’re not asked.
