What is your role and where are you located?
I am the Financial Planning Intern at the Goshen office on N. Main Street.
What is something you have learned in your internship?
I have learned a lot about the financial planning industry and the branches that come off that, which include tax planning, investing, charitable planning, etc.
What has been your favorite project/task?
My favorite part so far has been the two teams/discussion groups I’ve been a part of: The 100 Days Experience team and the Ongoing/Flourishing team.
How did you find Everence?
My professor suggested Everence to me. She says it is one of the best financial planning internships you can find.
What is something you like to do on the weekends?
I spend most of my weekends fishing, playing sand volleyball, and lifting weights.
What is your favorite local restaurant?
I consume a lot of Little Caesar’s pizzas but my favorite place to eat is probably Chipotle.
What advice do you have for future interns at Everence?
I would tell future interns to take notes and ask questions. My supervisor and I meet weekly and go over questions I’ve had over the past week. This ensures I understand everything I hear throughout a week full of informational meetings.
