On Oct. 19, 2023, Everence Federal Credit Union will join over 56,000 credit unions around the world to celebrate International Credit Union (ICU) Day®. This year marks the 75th anniversary of ICU Day.

ICU Day highlights the many ways credit unions across the world help members achieve their financial goals. Join us in one of our nine branches for snacks and giveaways as we celebrate the day. We invite both members and nonmembers to stop in.

Everence Federal Credit Union was founded in 1955 to provide mutual aid and support community, now serving over 23,000 members nationwide, said Kristen Heisey, President and CEO of Everence Federal Credit Union.

“We are helping families, nonprofits, churches, and small businesses bank with impact by integrating their faith and finances with comprehensive financial offerings,” Heisey said.

Credit unions were built on the principle of “people helping people.” We’ve seen that philosophy in action for more than 100 years, with credit unions providing access to affordable financial products and striving to meet the needs of underserved communities. Everence Federal Credit Union is honored to be a part of this proud tradition.

“Our goal is to serve members in unique ways, from offering the MyNeighbor credit card that gives back 1.5% to the member’s favorite nonprofit, to offering discounts on green loans and high-yield savings options,” Heisey said. “At the heart of our credit union, we are about helping our members find financial wellness and helping members in their stewardship journeys.”

Everence Federal Credit Union invites both members and nonmembers to visit and celebrate this day. Everence Federal Credit Union will share member stories and event highlights on social media using #ICUDay.

ICU Day is brought to you by Credit Union National Association and World Council of Credit Unions. Learn more about Everence Federal Credit Union at everence.com/banking
