For the 10th year in a row, the Goshen community spread generosity through the Everence clothing drive, which included non-perishable food items this year to grow on the tradition.
Started in 2013 by then-Branch Manager Tim Martin, the initiative has continued to grow each year. Tim had a passion for the community and a heart for servanthood. Though he died in the winter of 2017, the clothing drive has continued as one of his legacies.
Between the Friday after Thanksgiving and the Friday before Christmas, winter clothing and non-perishable food items were collected at the Everence locations in Goshen. On Dec. 22, 309 winter clothing items and 219 non-perishable items were delivered to The Window, a nonprofit, faith-based organization that provides services to meet the needs of those who have limited income.
